DRS Golf Calendar & Championship Structure 2026-27
Dear Golfers,
As the DRS Golf Community continues to grow, we are pleased to announce our annual calendar of competitive golf leagues designed to provide members with regular opportunities to compete, improve their game, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow golfers.
DRS Monsoon League
- Starts: 1st July 2026
- League Stage Completion: 30th September 2026
Players will compete in a league format, earning points based on match results and performance.
At the conclusion of the league stage, the Top 8 or Top 16 players (depending on the number of participants) will qualify for the knockout rounds to determine the Monsoon League Champion.
DRS Winter League
- Starts: 15th October 2026
- League Stage Completion: 30th Jan 2027
The Winter League will follow the DRS points-based format, rewarding consistent performance, competitive spirit, and excellence on the golf course.
The Top 8 or Top 16 players from the league table will advance to the knockout stage, where they will compete for the title of Winter League Champion.
DRS Spring League
- Starts: 15th Feb 2027
- Finals Completion: 15th April 2027
The Spring League will conclude the DRS golfing season.
Following the league phase, the Top 8 or Top 16 players will progress to the knockout rounds, culminating in the Spring League Final to determine the season champion.
Annual Stableford Championship
In addition to the league competitions, DRS will organize a One-Day Stableford Championship open to all members during the month of April 2027.
This event will provide an opportunity for every golfer in the community to compete together in a single-day championship and showcase their golfing skills.
The DRS Champions Jacket
The prestigious DRS Champions Jacket (Green Jacket) will be awarded annually to the golfer who demonstrates the highest level of performance and consistency across all DRS competitions during the season.
Points earned in the Monsoon, Winter, and Spring Leagues, along with performances in the Stableford Championship and knockout stages, will contribute towards determining the DRS Golfer of the Year.
The Champions Jacket is intended to recognize not merely a tournament winner, but the golfer who consistently excels throughout the year while displaying sportsmanship, commitment, and passion for the game.
